On March 8, 2008, CEF of Greater Houston
had a ground-breaking ceremony to start their new office building at
901 Pinemont. The governing body and some of the staff were present
for this event. Construction started on March 10th. Please check

pursuing every opportunity to present the Gospel of the Lord Jesus
Christ to boys and girls.

to the website of the Houston chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship
of East Texas®. The greater Houston area is home to more than four
million residents. The estimate is that over 500,000 children do not
attend church. Our Mission Statement, above, illustrates this
ministry’s focus. As with the Apostle Paul, who called it his
aspiration “…to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already
named…(Romans 15:20), so it is with this ministry.
Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF) has been taking the love of Christ
to children since 1936. It has workers in over 150 countries worldwide
and reaches over 5 million children each year. Its passion is to
evangelize children, disciple them in the Word of God, and establish
them in Bible-teaching churches has never changed. The Houston chapter
was established in 1948, but was redefined as the Greater Houston
Chapter because of the extensive outreach that included not only
Harris County but also its surrounding counties.
